2014 - 2015
As a contributing writer for Taipei Trends, Alexandra investigated and published articles on unique places and groups in Taiwan. Some of her most popular articles include "Taking a Break in Beipu" and "Playful Taipei: 10 Places to Let Loose." She also worked closely with the editor-in-chief to prepare articles for publication and plan future material.
Contributing Writer, Centered on Taipei
2014 - 2015
Alexandra covered a wide range of topics in her work for Centered on Taipei. She interviewed local businesses and artists, met with community organizations, and traveled regionally to produce dynamic articles on Taipei and its community. The Community Services Center, the magazine's producer, awarded Alexandra with a Plaque of Appreciation in June 2015 for her creative contributions to the magazine.

Alexandra graduated with a double major in History and Art History as well as departmental honors in both majors. Her History major focused on U.S. history, and her Art History major emphasized Asian Art History. Her work as an undergraduate research assistant for Professor Katharine P. Burnett ultimately inspired her to move to Taiwan.
